Kyle Pyatt is a videographer, editor and filmmaker based in Washington, DC.
His previous work includes the non-fiction short Rockpile, which premiered at the 2018 Big Sky Documentary Film Festival. He was also a cinematographer for A Debtor’s Prison, which screened at the Camden International Film Festival and AFI’s Meet the Press Film Festival.
In Washington he works as a videographer and editor for Newsy Documentaries, which produces documentary programming for television, streaming platforms and the web. At Newsy he has contributed videography to a number of projects, including the National Edward R. Murrow Award-winning short Walkout.
He is an alumnus of the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism, where in 2017 he graduated as a member of the inaugural class of the Jonathan B. Murray Center for Documentary Journalism.
