Kyle Pyatt is a DP, editor and filmmaker based in Washington, DC.
His previous work includes the non-fiction short Rockpile, which premiered at the 2018 Big Sky Documentary Film Festival. He was also a cinematographer for A Debtor’s Prison, which screened at the Camden International Film Festival and AFI’s Meet the Press Film Festival.
In Washington he works as a videographer and editor for Newsy Documentaries, which produces documentary programming for television, streaming platforms and the web. At Newsy he has contributed videography to a number of projects, including the National Edward R. Murrow Award-winning short Walkout.
He is an alumnus of the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism, where in 2017 he graduated from the inaugural class of the Jonathan B. Murray Center for Documentary Journalism.
